What Our Students Say

Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year. Thank you so much for everything. You changed the way I look at music you showed me everything from my first song " smoke on the water" to "purple haze". You have showed me there is more to music and more to life. You taught me to not care what people think and just sing wherever I am whether it is in a store or at home at 5:30 in the morning. I love how you tell me when I am great and when I suck.

You told me on my first c.d. thing at Brookdale I rocked when I really couldn't play anything except smoke on the water. My parents are so grateful you have taught me so much but they hate the amp. You have told me things I don't believe like how Paul McCartney is dead and you have told me things I do believe which are I should never wear an outfit on stage like Angus Young. You taught me about how Bon Jovi lives in NJ, and how you should never leave the house without music. I have seen almost every movie and concert at your classes from Elf to School Of Rock and Kiss to The Beatles.

All I am saying is you have really influenced my life and you most likely don't even know it. But I do. You really have should me a whole new side of life to me. I could go on for hours about what you have taught me. And when I get into that car and go home from your studio I always have a new story to tell. Some of my life long dreams have already been achieved and I can't wait to see what the future holds.

One of the most important things to me is my music. If it wasn't for Beach Music Studios, I never would of have been able to say I am a Musician. I owe a lot to Danny White and the staff of Beach Music, whether it's for my private guitar and voice lessons or for being a part of the Beach Music Rock Band (a.k.a. BMRB).

started when my parents wanted me in an after school activity, but I was not nto sports. So my parents signed me up for guitar lessons at Beach Music Studios. Soon after, Danny approached my family about a new program he was starting called the "Beach Music Rock Band". My parents saw this as a great opportunity for me to learn teamwork without playing a sport.

I was very nervous about joining because I am actually very shy around people I don't know. But thanks to the instructors, I was able to socialize with band mates, make new friends, learn and play in a band and have the opportunity to perform at the Lakewood Blue Claws Stadium and at historical venues such as The Saint and The Stone Pony. At first, I would just stand around while playing and now I have the courage to be very animated on stage. I have also mentored and encouraged new members, just as others have helped me over the years.

I am the last original member of the BMRB, but now it's time for me too to move on. It's time to leave it to the next generation of future Rockers. So, on behalf of my family and myself I want to thank Danny White and the rest of the Beach Music staff for all the support I have received over the years and thanks to them I have gone from a quiet shy kid to a HEAVY METAL ROCKER!!!

Dear Mr. White,

On behalf of Manna House, I would like to thank you for your donation of toys to our residents for Christmas. I understand that you are in a band, and asked those who came to hear you play to bring toys for our benefit. The children were very excited by your gifts, and the moms, as well as staff here at Manna House, were very appreciative. Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness and generosity this holiday season - - it really meant a lot to the families here.

May you and your family have a very happy and healthy New Year!

Hey Danny,

I just wanted to tell you that I am still enjoying my lessons with Jim enormously!!! He has a great style of teaching which makes it very easy and enjoyable for me to learn.

You may want to think about targeting adults for lessons. There's no reason why any adult can't learn to play some type of musical instrument and I'm certain that music will enrich their lives. Hey! If I can learn to play guitar anyone can!!!!

I played "Tequila Sunrise" along with the Eagles last week (on CD of course) and it was the biggest thrill I've had since swimming around the Isle of Jersey!!!
